On April 25, the First Membership Meeting of the Eighth Term of the Jiangsu Decoration and Renovation Industry Association was grandly held in Nanjing. Leaders including Wang Zhongqi, President of the China Building Decoration Association, and Li Zhen, Deputy Director of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, attended the meeting by invitation.

Having completed 36 years of distinguished development, the Jiangsu Decoration and Renovation Industry Association has, under successive presidents and leadership teams, kept Jiangsu's decoration industry at the forefront nationally. The association has earned the national "5A" rating and received high recognition from regulatory authorities and member enterprises. On behalf of the Seventh Council, President Wang Youdang delivered a comprehensive review of the association's work over the past five years. Both President Wang Zhongqi and Deputy Director Li Zhen highly commended the association's achievements and expressed hope that the new leadership team would build on past successes to guide Jiangsu's decoration industry toward high-quality, sustainable development. Leaders called on the industry and enterprises to closely align with the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development's "Ideal Home" strategy, adhere to industrialization, digitalization, and green development, strengthen R&D innovation, and make significant progress in areas such as prefabricated decoration.

The conference elected the eighth board of directors, with Zhai Heng, President of Gold Mantis Group, elected as the new chairman. President Zhai stated that the association will continue to serve as a bridge and link, strengthening ties with member enterprises. By thoroughly understanding their voices and needs, the association will better propose recommendations to regulatory authorities, provide effective support in resolving practical issues, and promptly interpret and convey policies and requirements from authorities to member enterprises. Through this bridge, the association will foster closer connections between authorities and enterprises, as well as among enterprises themselves, jointly creating a harmonious and mutually beneficial development environment.

The Jiangsu building decoration industry has long held an important national standing and influence. Facing a challenging market environment, enterprises must learn from one another, unite for mutual support, and pursue win-win cooperation. Under the leadership of the new leadership team, the industry will strive forward and achieve sustainable and healthy development.
